Whitepaper Reading Club @ EthCC
Discussion Topics:
1:00 PM Physical Security:
Paper Link
Every year, the number of kidnappings of crypto holders doubles on average. Given this rise in physical threats, many executives turn to K&R insurance, bodyguards, and panic buttons. This session will explore how risk is priced, hedged and mitigated by the leaders of our industry.
2:00 PM Privacy:
Paper Link
Privacy in crypto is no longer just about hiding transactions — it’s about programming visibility. This session explores how the landscape has split across private money like Monero and Zcash, privacy middleware such as RAILGUN and Hinkal, and programmable privacy platforms like Miden, Aleo, Aztec Network, Midnight, and Canton Network—each making different tradeoffs in openness, verifiability, compliance, and performance. We’ll use a new framework comparing deployable privacy vs blockchain assurances to unpack why systems like Canton dominate institutional use cases, why Monero and Zcash still lead on crypto-native guarantees, and how emerging designs are redefining what privacy means in real-world applications today.
3:00PM Internet Capital Markets:

Solana’s Roadmap to achieve the world's most liquid markets through Application-Controlled Execution (ACE), giving smart contracts millisecond-level control over transaction ordering. Post. This is especially true with the launch of constellation.

Thank you Ferno.ag
Ferno is a collective founded by experienced Solana builders, with core members contributing to leading companies in the ecosystem (Jupiter, Sanctum, Triton, Kamino, ...). We focus on infrastructure, on-chain data, and structured DeFi products.
We operate our own archive nodes, indexers, and transaction landing infrastructure, develop Solana programs using the latest stack, and actively participate in DeFi markets.
Ferno organizes events for companies, builders, and students, teaches Solana development, supports hackathons, and provides advisory to early-stage teams from pre-seed to mainnet helping optimize infrastructure, go-to-market strategy, and technical execution.
