This session explores how Fairtrade uses creative storytelling to challenge inequality in our food system and platform the voices of the people who grow, pick, stitch and pack our food.
Fairtrade Foundation (UK) Fairtrade America (US) will share insights from their campaigns spanning murals, immersive art, festivals, and social media activism and how these can help the public understand the intersection between our complex realities of climate change, price volatility, and gender inequity.
The session will be an opportunity to hear from campaigns leads and partners as well as featuring a participatory hands-on creative activity.
Participants will gain practical inspiration, fresh communications strategies, and tools to harness storytelling for meaningful social change.
