Dubai Tech Tuesdays No. 26 - Community Holiday Dinner

A lot of us have left Dubai for the holidays and New Years, but many of us REMAIN. So, in service of our lovely Dubai Tech Tuesdays community members who are staying in town, we would be honored if you join us for a special "COMMUNITY HOLIDAY DINNER" this December 24, 2024 (Xmas Eve), starting at 6 PM and running until 11:30 PM.
Come enjoy a warm, festive atmosphere and a sit-down holiday dinner. Spouses and companions welcome. ALL guests will enjoy a holiday dinner menu with many delicious options. A single guest can enjoy dinner for 250 AED, and a couple for 400 AED. As usual, there is an OPTIONAL beverages package - 120 AED gets you 3 "strong" drinks or lovely mocktails.
VENUE: Come mingle with fellow technologists at the lux French restaurant LA VOILE ROUGE, part of the DOLCE LEGENDS fine dining complex, located inside the Al Fattan Currency House complex in the DIFC. AGENDA:
6:00 - 7:00 pm GATHER and SOCIALIZE. We know traffic and parking is crazy! Do NOT stress. Take your time and get here. Socialize and get to know other participants.
7:00 - 7:30 pm INTRODUCE YOURSELVES. After a brief introduction, 10-15 or so guests will be invited by Gordon to introduce themselves to the community for a couple minutes each, microphone in hand. Do not miss this opportunity for everyone to get to know you! Do not be shy... the shy eat alone.
7:30 pm onwards... ENJOY SIT-DOWN GOURMET HOLIDAY DINNER with family and friends (including NEW friends).
DRESSCODE: Please dress to impress - this is a high-level business and social event. *** NO caps/shorts NO open toe shoes/sneakers/trainers *** Be classy (please). Men - try wearing a suit or sports jacket. Don't wear some random T-shirt/raggedy jeans. Women - this is your chance to be elegant. The venue may block access in case of inappropriate, sloppy, or indecent attire - it's up to them.
