About Rachel Freed: Rachel is the Executive Assistant to Jon Platt, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Publishing. Before joining SMP, she spent eight years as a personal assistant to Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen at The Row. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant for Pat McGrath, Mark Burnett, and Arianna Huffington, and began her career at Creative Artists Agency.
About Alison O'Donnell: Alison O’Donnell is Vice President, Creative Marketing – Film & Television at Sony Music Publishing. She began her career as a Film and Television executive at Jobete Music Publishing, home of the iconic Motown catalog. She later joined EMI Music Publishing following EMI’s acquisition of Jobete, and subsequently became part of Sony Music Publishing through Sony’s acquisition of EMI. She is a seasoned executive with decades of creative and negotiation experience in the synchronization world. She is also the approval contact for the legendary Jobete catalog.
About Melissa Yermes: Melissa Yermes is Senior Director, Business & Legal Affairs at Sony Music Publishing. In her role, Melissa works closely with A&R and other business units on agreement strategy for diverse projects. She negotiates, drafts, and assists in implementing new writer agreements, extensions, and purchases. Before moving to Los Angeles, Melissa lived in New York, where she attended Brooklyn Law School.
