The Problem and the Solution

Climate action today is not constrained by ambition or innovation — it is constrained by fragmented, low-trust, and costly data systems.

Despite rapid growth in climate finance, renewable deployment, and sustainability commitments, coordination across producers, financiers, regulators, and supply chains remains deeply inefficient. Capital is mispriced. Compliance is expensive. Progress is difficult to verify.

Systemic problems require systemic infrastructure.

The Climate & Sustainability Data Exchange (CSDX) is conceived as an open, interoperable digital rail for decision-grade climate and sustainability information — enabling trusted data exchange across institutions at near-zero marginal cost. Inspired by digital public infrastructure models, CSDX aims to transform sustainability data from a reporting burden into shared, coordination-enabling infrastructure.

This roundtable marks the transition from concept to collective action.

Who Should Attend

This is a high-level roundtable for 15–20 senior decision-makers shaping climate, finance, data, and governance systems.

We invite leaders from:

  • Corporates and supply chain platforms

  • Banks, NBFCs, and sustainable finance teams

  • MFIs and blended finance institutions

  • Climate tech and digital infrastructure builders

  • Policy, regulatory, and standards bodies

  • Non-profits and ecosystem conveners

What to Expect

This is not a panel discussion; it is a structured working session.

Participants will:

  • Explore high-impact near-term use cases (e.g., real-time Scope 3 visibility, automated green finance repricing.

  • Define the trust architecture required for open data networks (verification, provenance, auditability)

  • Align on governance principles for open, interoperable systems

  • Identify pilot pathways and form a committed working group

The session will move from vision to roadmap — concluding with a commitment circle to define next steps and modes of contribution.
