Weekly AI community gathering!

This week's presentations:

What's Inside an AI Agent? Harness engineering with Pi-mono and a 35B model in a wardrobe

Georgi built an autonomous agent that monitors his home server - crash detection, log analysis, auto-recovery. He'll walk through how agentic frameworks work: the tool loop, system prompts, lifecycle hooks, and safety gates. Built with Pi-mono (the engine behind OpenClaw) and a self-hosted 35B model from his wardrobe.

Speaker: About the speaker: Georgi Alexandrov (Tech Lead @ Sourcelab) is a full-stack developer with ~20 years of experience, currently leading AI adoption at a software company - rethinking how teams work with AI across the whole process, from requirements through design, development, and testing.

Setting up LSP for faster code navigation and markdown digging in specs and docs in Open Code or Claude Code

Jordan will show how to set up Language Server Protocol (LSP) in Open Code (or Claude Code) to make code navigation feel instant-jump‑to‑definition, hover info, and diagnostics with minimal configuration. He’ll also demonstrate how the QMD/Tobi skill speeds up searching through Markdown specs, internal notes, and docs. A quick end-to-end demo ties it together so you can apply the same workflow immediately.

Speaker: Jordan Ilchev is an AI enthusiast who loves breaking in new tech and sharing what actually works with the AIE.F community. He’s focused on practical tooling, smarter workflows, and pushing AI boundaries wherever possible.

Come hang out with people who love building and talking about AI.

Great space for networking, sharing projects, getting feedback, and learning about what others are building.

🍻 Join us for a beer!

Between meet-ups, you'll find us chatting away on Discord.

Location: Work&Share Synergy (м. Къро, Boulevard "Tsarigradsko shose" 111, 1784 Sofia); (Photo instructions)

Participating in the community and future events will be always completely FREE.

Here's how it all started, told by our co-founder Yavor Belakov:

I just came back from a business trip to San Francisco and I'm mind blown!

Not by the state of tech but by the people. People in SF are participating in AI communities like crazy - meeting up all the time, and exchanging knowledge and experience. No wonder they are a few years ahead of everyone else. There are between 2 and 6 AI events you can choose from DAILY. The average week in Bulgaria has 0 AI events.

After coming back, I received this message:

Wanna be our first Chapter lead for AI Engineer Foundation's Bulgaria?

Sasha Sheng, Founder of AI Engineer Foundation (San Francisco)

I guess you see where this is going.

Yesssss - let's build a strong Bulgarian AI community.

Let's be up to date with the dynamically changing AI landscape.

And let's do it together - Bulgarian AI engineers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts. Not alone but with the support of one of the most important communities in San Francisco - AI Engineer Foundation (endorsed by LangChain, Llama Index, AutoGPT, E2B, Postman).

We host our After Hours every week and Community Talks with keynotes, food and networking once a month.

See you there :)
