The Protocol

Alien is a privacy-first identity protocol designed to solve the internet's greatest bottleneck: Trust. In an era of AI-generated noise and Sybil attacks, Alien provides a decentralized "Proof-of-Human" anchor. By building on Alien, your apps gain two immediate, native superpowers:

  1. Verified Unique Identity: Ensure every user is a unique, living human without ever accessing their private biometric data (via Zero-Knowledge Proofs).

  2. Native Payments: Seamlessly accept and send payments using the integrated Alien Wallet, turning your mini-app into a functional economy from day one.

The Vibe

Alien Hack is a one-day, high-intensity vibe-coding sprint. We’re bringing together the boldest builders and prompt engineers to ship the first wave of Alien Mini-Apps.

Forget a week of infrastructure setup. With AI-accelerated dev cycles and the Alien SDK, we are moving from First Prompt to Official App Directory Submission in 10 hours.

The Challenge

Build a mini-app that leverages Human Identity and Native Payments to solve real problems. For example:

  • Sybil-Resistant Social: Community voting where "one person = one vote" is the law.

  • Integrated Economies: Marketplace apps with human-verified reviews and instant payments.

  • Verified Rewards: Gated airdrops and incentives that bots literally cannot touch.

  • Frontier Access: Digital/physical gating for the Frontier Tower community.

The Schedule

  • 10:00 AM: Doors Open | Coffee & prompt-crafting.

  • 10:30 AM: Opening Keynote | A rapid Welcome and All-You-Need intro from Alien CEO Kirill Avery and other hosts

    • Workshop by Mansi More on "Building Reliable AI: Fundamentals, Security & Eval Engineering"

  • 10:50 AM: Hacking Starts & Networking Event | Build phase begins with technical support on-site to help unblock. 🚀

  • 1:00 PM: Working Lunch | Collaborative fuel for the afternoon sprint.

  • 1:30 PM: Mid-Day Judging Checkpoint | Teams meet with judges to share their idea, current progress, and receive feedback on whether they’re on track for final submission.

  • 4:00 PM: The Hardening Shift | Moving from local dev to Production URLs.

  • 5:30 PM: The Submission Window | Final manifest checks and portal submissions.

  • 6:00 PM: Dinner & Code Freeze | Submissions close. Prep for the main stage. 🍱

  • 6:45 PM: Live Mobile Demos | All projects shown on-device inside the Alien App.

  • 7:45 PM: Awards | Crowning the "Most Human App."

Why Join?

  • Exclusive Tech: Get first-access documentation for the Alien L1 Network.

  • The Venue: Build from Floor 2 of the legendary Frontier Tower, the vertical village of SF’s frontier tech scene.

  • Fast-Tracked Listings: Winning apps are fast-tracked for the official Alien App Store.

  • Prizes: Over $3k in cash prizes and other sponsor rewards.

Event FAQs

  • How do "Mini-Apps" work? They are web apps (HTML/JS) hosted on your server but rendered inside the Alien app's secure WebView. They use a JS Bridge to call identity and payment functions.

  • What if I'm not a "Pro" coder? This is a vibe-coding event! If you can use AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Gemini) to build a web stack and call an API, you’re ready.

  • Do I need an Alien ID? Yes. Your Alien ID is your ticket and your developer credentials. We will have verification support on-site if you aren't yet verified.

  • What should I bring? Your laptop, a charger, and your most ambitious prompts.
