Online Perl code reading and open source contribution
The goal of our meetings is to encourage people to contribute to Open Source Perl projects.
During these event we pick a CPAN module and someone works on it opening issues, sending pull-requests etc.
Sometimes it is one person working and the rest helping, sometimes we do it using pair-programming In such session one of the participants is doing the work (the drivers) and on is giving the instructions (the navigator) while the others help with research and ideas. This is the "driver-navigator" style of pair-programming or even mob-programming.
