​Texas Chemicals Circularity Consortium (TC3) Host Session

​The Texas Chemicals Circularity Consortium (TC3), led by the University of Houston, is a multidisciplinary initiative uniting researchers, industry leaders, and government partners to accelerate innovation for a circular plastics and chemicals economy in Texas.

​Through TC3, we:

• ​Convene & Connect – Hosting symposiums and panels with global industry leaders, innovators, and UH experts to chart new pathways for plastics reuse, recycling, and advanced materials.

• ​Drive Solutions – Advancing pragmatic approaches such as low-energy chemical recycling, plastics upcycling, and policy/standards frameworks to enable true circularity.

• ​Engage Locally, Influence Nationally – Partnering with Houston’s industrial ecosystem, the nation’s hub for plastics and chemical innovation, to create models that scale across Texas and beyond.

​Positioned within the UH Division of Energy and Innovation and the UH Energy Transition Institute, TC3 serves as a convening hub where science, policy, and business intersect to tackle environmental impacts, unlock economic opportunities, and solve technical challenges in closing the loop for plastics and chemicals.

​Join us for this host session with 30 participants to shape collaborations, research, and policy frameworks that will help Houston—and Texas—lead in sustainable solutions for industry and society.
