Cursor Austin Grok Hackathon
Spend a Saturday building on Grok 4.6 in Cursor. Solo or a team of four. Bring an idea, find teammates at 9:30, or pick a recommended path.
No cheating. Everything you submit is built during this hackathon. Ideas, designs, and accounts are fine. A finished repo you restyle is not.
Cursor is how you build. Grok 4.6 has to be load-bearing in what you ship.
Recommended paths (not prize lanes — one 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the whole room):
Cool factor — Make something people want to show. Taste, a new interface, a braver bet. Still has to work.
Business use case — Fix a real workflow. The bar is: someone would use this on Monday.
Agentic orchestration — Something that reasons, plans, and takes action on Grok 4.6.
Every team submits online by 3:00. Judges pick a top three. Those three present.
Prizes
First place: $1,500 per team member
Second place: $1,000 per team member
Third place: $500 per team member
