About Event

Our 1st AI Alliance event in Berlin. Sponsored by Neo4j and Cognee.

This Berlin AI Agent Meetup is a community for AI Agent Developers, Engineers, UX, Ops, and Applied Researchers exploring and leading the evolution of AI agents. Whether you're building autonomous systems, experimenting with LLM-powered assistants, or integrating AI agents into real-world applications, this meetup is the place to discover, share insights, and collaborate with your peers. Join us for talks, demos, discussions and networking with like-minded innovators shaping the next generation of AI.

The theme is Agentic AI with Context Engineering.

Talk descriptions:

  • Cognee organizes your data into AI memory. It builds structured AI memory by transforming raw data into a modular, queryable knowledge graph powered by embeddings. Like any complex system, it depends on many hyperparameters that shape performance in subtle ways. This talk shows how systematic tuning can improve AI memory, what current evaluation methods reveal (and miss), and why future progress will depend as much on better evaluation and optimization as on new architectures.

  • ASKG is a knowledge graph of all the MCP servers on the internet, scraped and loaded into a Neo4j instance. It has its own MCP server that allows agents to put together agent calls for various data pipelines. ASKG is a project of the AIliance and you can contribute at github.com/oakstack/askg.

  • Context engineering is about putting the relevant information in a structured way into an LLM context. In prompt engineering we usually stuffed everything into the prompt.
Now this becomes more of an information architecture question - similar to how you would structure the information to pass to a human co-worker.
With different contexts being required in the 3 phases of an agent loop, the inputs and structures of those differ as well.
In this talk we want to discuss a pyramid of context structure, sources of factual, relevant information to integrate into the context and possible context structures.

Speaker Bios:

  • Alexy Khrabrov is the AI Community Architect at Neo4j, and a community leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. He founded and runs Bay Area AI and AI By the Bay, the longest-running independend OSS AI meetup and conference in the Bay Area, and coorganizes AI Agent SF with the AI Alliance.

  • Lazar Obradovic, Lead Data Scientist at Cognee, focused on research and innovation. Years of research experience in academia and industry across DS/ML/AI. Background in mathematics, PhD in stochastic finance. Currently building, improving, testing, and tuning AI Memory at Cognee.

  • Michael Hunger has been passionate about software development for more than 35 years. For the last 15 years, he has been working on the open source Neo4j graph database filling many roles, most recently leading Product Innovation and Developer Strategy. He especially loves to work with graph-related projects, users, and contributors, his current focus is generative AI, GraphRAG, cloud integrations and developer experience.

We look forward to building Berlin's AI Agent community together! 🚀

Food and drink, engaging conversation, and incredible company will all be provided!
