Weekend Function(): Agent Econ & AI Minds { Software Developer Meetup }
What to Expect
Join us for a special weekend developer experience! We're long time San Diego developers, looking to fostering a community of devs of all skill levels to have fun, network, and learn new things!
Connect
For this monthly meetup, we gather for lunch to introduce ourselves and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
Inspire
After networking lunch, we start a series of presentations from members of the community to share interesting developer topics.
Build
Once presentations are finished, we break into groups to casually network, show off our projects and build together!
Reminders
Please be courteous and respectful to others.
Laptops are encouraged. Should you be giving a presentation or want to share a project, your laptop is essential. We are developers, let’s build together
Feel free to ask our organizers for help on some code you're struggling with, if you are! We're happy to help where we can.
Speaker Topics
AgentVouch: The Trust Layer for the Agent Economy – Andy Sustic
AI agents are starting to install skills, delegate work, and build on each other’s outputs, but the trust layer is still missing. This talk introduces AgentVouch, a Solana-based system where participants stake SOL to vouch for an author, challenge bad vouches through disputes, and route paid listed skill purchases through a 60/40 on-chain marketplace split between authors and voucher pools. It ends with a live devnet demo of registration, vouching, malicious skill claim resolution, and slashing.
Minds & Models – Tyler Lindow
What's the connection between human learning and machine learning and why does it matter? This talk breaks down various aspects of learning sciences research and ties it to fundamental structures of hardware and software. Especially with the proliferation of artificial intelligence, we take a look at how machines and humans learn, where they are similar, and where they're different.
