Do The Right Thing Part 2: "Get Well" with Dana Wilson
Presented by The BERG Collective
Sponsored by Betterment
If you’re ready to take control of your finances, break old habits, and build healthier ones, this session is for you. Join The BERG Collective, in partnership with Betterment, for the second installment of our Financial Empowerment Series—a four-part journey designed to help you build wealth with clarity and confidence.
In this interactive session, you’ll hear from Dana Wilson, founder and CEO of CHIP.
With more than sixteen years of experience in financial services across Merrill Lynch, State Farm, and SunTrust Bank, Dana saw a major gap: people were struggling to find diverse certified financial experts they could trust. In 2020, she launched CHIP (Changing How Individuals Prosper) to bridge that gap, creating a database of Black and Latine financial professionals and sparking a wealth-building movement focused on closing the racial wealth divide.
Dana understands that the path to financial independence is emotional and often shaped by systemic barriers, especially for Black and Latine professionals. She brings a practical, empathetic approach and we’re excited for her to share actionable guidance with our community.
This discussion is open to all working professionals, whether you’re a salaried employee or building your own business.
