Hardware Freedom Day — Open Hardware Exhibition & Showcase
Join Melbourne Tech Guilds in collaboration with Linux Users Victoria as we celebrate Hardware Freedom Day — an annual event dedicated to the spirit of open hardware and maker culture. Come and see real working projects built by local makers, hear directly from the people who designed and built them, and connect with Melbourne's vibrant maker and tech community.
📅 Date: Saturday 18 April 2025
🕚 Time: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
📍 Venue: Inspire9, Melbourne
What's on
Live demonstrations of systems our members have built from scratch, lightning talks covering project challenges and successes, and plenty of opportunity to meet and chat with engineers who love to share what they know. Alongside Melbourne Tech Guilds there will be other Melbourne-based creative groups and makerspaces — so expect a full and lively event.
