About Event

Stockholm AI is pleased to collaborate with Zenseact and bring you this amazing technical event. We are going to have two presentations - one from Hampus Lewis-Lück (CFO and CDO), and one from Erik Rosén (Senior Director of AI and Perception). This will be followed by a panel discussion, with the usual dose of Sthlm AI fun, mingle and networking (food and beverage included!).

  • Hampus will talk about how Zenseact taps deep learning to save lives in traffic and create innovation-driven productivity gains in the software and AI development process.

  • Erik will then present E2E driving with safety guardrails using spatiotemporal transformer networks.

About Zenseact:

Zenseact, a Volvo Cars subsidiary, is a leading AI and software company building a full-stack autonomous driving solution. With the largest concentration of AI researchers and engineers in the region and a decade experience of operating advanced AI infrastructure and data platform, we train large-scale models purpose-built for safe autonomous driving.

Bios:

Hampus Lewis-Lück is a tech-driven executive at Zenseact, a Volvo Cars subsidiary developing autonomous driving software. With deep expertise in large-scale datasets, deep learning infrastructure, and strategic leadership, he blends technical depth with strategic vision — navigating global competition and geopolitics while staying laser-focused on how AI can both save lives on the road and unlock massive productivity gains in development.

Erik is currently Senior Director of AI and Perception at Zenseact. Prior to this role, he held several key technical leadership positions at Zenseact (and formerly Zenuity), including Chief AI Officer, Chief Architect, Product Area Owner for Computer Vision, and Technical Expert in Deep Learning.

From 2014 to 2017, he served as Director of Automated Driving and Preventive Safety at Autoliv’s global research division. Erik holds a PhD in superstring theory from Chalmers University of Technology (2006) and has eight years of experience in statistical accident research from his time at Autoliv.
