Spatial Pixel: Rube Goldberg Workshop!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll collaborate to build a large-scale digital and physical Rube Goldberg machine, using it as a playful testing ground for spatial computing. Together, we’ll explore how interactions move between digital systems and the physical world, working with tools like cameras, microphones, and connected devices, to create responsive, real-world experiences. Using Spatial Pixel’s Procession platform, you’ll experiment with programming environments that respond to voice, gesture, and objects, while reflecting on the interactions you design: what affordances exist in digital vs. physical systems, how your decisions shape behavior, and how people engage with what you create. The goal is to expand your understanding of spatial computing beyond the screen into something collective, embodied, and dynamic.
