EPC Unscripted (Online): Hiring in Design
An online conversation for mid/lead-level designers and above to discuss the realities of hiring from both sides of the table.
EPC Unscripted is a casual, invite-only gathering that brings together a thoughtful mix of design leaders and mid- to lead-level design professionals for open, honest conversations.
This edition centres on design hiring today; the gaps people are seeing across the industry, the realities of trying to get hired, the challenges of hiring well, and the parameters that seem to matter more than ever in a changing market.
Over Zoom, the session will flow through introductions, shared reflections, and an open Q&A with design leaders on what they are facing, what feels unclear, and where they are noticing friction in trying to grow, hire, or get hired.
It is meant to feel like a more open and thoughtful space where designers can hear directly from leaders, exchange perspectives with peers, and discuss the state of design hiring candidly.
