EPC Dialogues: A Designer's Invisible Edge
One-day participatory forum for designers: moderated conversations, hands-on activities and practical takeaways.
EPC Dialogues is a format that brings practising designers and design leaders together to explore context-specific themes shaping design today. Each edition is designed as an interactive gathering meant to initiate dialogue, exchange, and co-creation. It invites real experiences, challenges, and perspectives into the room, turning them into insights and takeaways for the fellow attendees. Attendees don’t just listen; they think, contribute, and build collective understanding through thoughtfully moderated discussions and short collaborative activities.
The Dubai edition of EPC Dialogues is about a Designer's Invisible Edge. Much of what defines great design never shows up in the interface or the outcome. It’s in how we notice, interpret, and move — how we make sense of the invisible forces that shape decisions, systems, and people.
This day-long gathering is for designers who want to pause and look beneath the surface of their own practice. It explores the intangible powers that quietly shape everything we create — perception, clarity, trust, and movement.
We’ll begin by looking inward: how we see and make sense of complexity, how judgment forms, and how stories give meaning to what we design. Then we’ll turn outward: how we move ideas through teams and systems, how alignment and trust take form, and how design leaves traces that outlast us.
Through a mix of talks, panels, and participatory exercises, we’ll practice slowing down to understand what we often take for granted and rediscover design as a way of seeing the world, not just solving it.
