House 831 is hosting Office Hours with Alpaca VC on December 17th from 11:00AM -2:00PM! If you're a founder looking for strategic advice or feedback, connect with Josh Jagota in a one-on-one, intimate setting for insight and advice on what you’re building. Whether you’re looking to perfect your pitch, getting VC perspective on the current market, or anything else, come on out.
The House will be open to all attendees from 11:00AM to 2:00PM, with our private barista serving free coffee. Arrive early or stay after your session to connect with other founders. House 831 is for fostering meaningful connections and building together—come experience it as a member.
How It Works:
Founders must apply in advance for a 1:1 time slot. Registration will close one week out or when full.
If selected, you’ll receive an email 1 week before event date with your time slot.
Come prepared with your most pressing questions and materials to make the most of your session.
Arrive early and hang out after your session to meet other founders or work on what you’re building.

Josh Jagota, Principal @ Alpaca VC
Josh is an operator turned seed investor. He's currently spearheading the build of intelligent AI systems for his firm and is actively investing in the intersection of AI and human agency out of a new thesis called The Aquarius Economy. Within their thesis, Josh & his team have invested in nuclear SMRs and critical minerals all the way to the frontier of creative computation and scientific superintelligence.
Before Alpaca, he earned his MBA from The Wharton School, where he led The MBA Fund writing pre-seed checks across verticals. Before Wharton, he was the first employee and Chief of Staff at Dwelling, working with a Canadian founding team to help them close a seed round from Kleiner Perkins, SV Angel, Jack Dorsey, and others on their mission to make homeownership more accessible. Josh started as a consultant at Analysis Group before joining Betterment's operations team during their growth to $50B AUM.
Josh also has a BA in Economics from UCLA and likes to ski, go to concerts, and coach/play soccer in his free time.
