TALK: Introduction to Open Source Operating systems

​In October, Support for Windows 10 will be ending. That means millions of old laptops across the country will slowly become unusable.

​We find it deeply unfair that you need new electronics every few years when all you want to do is write a document and surf the web . I think we can change

​Every month, we will be holding a talk on what an Operating System is,  its relation to hardware, and how to use this knowledge to save your laptops from E-waste.

​We are a not-for-profit organisation with the aim to promote Open Source Software. We want the people of Perth to learn about all the free digital tools out there.
