Home Is Wherever We Are is an artist-run gathering centered on a shared love of diy culture and community. It's a celebration of diy as a way of living— diy as a means of survival. We believe in the power art has to foster meaningful connections and life-affirming moments you can hold within your heart. Home is not bound to a particular location, but encompassed in a state of unity and intent. What does home mean to you?

Proceeds will go towards securing safe housing for Alex & Dani, two best friends being abruptly displaced after dealing with a toxic living situation the past few months.

Activities & Schedule
Breathe new life into old clothes with these three upcyling stations from 3-8pm. We recommend coming earlier to ensure completion of the garment of your dreams.
Screen-print Station — Facilitated by Bella, she'll show you the process that goes behind screen printing on clothing. Bring your own garment(s)! $5 per print.
Sew-on Patches Station — Facilitated by Cyrus, she will machine sew patches purchased at the event. We will have a limited amount of needles & thread if you prefer to handsew or fabric glue and safety pins for quick application.
Button-making Station — We will have a 2.25in button maker on site to press your own buttons! Draw your design on pre-cut paper and press press press.
There will also be studs and grommets to accessorize your pieces further!
In the evening, around 8pm, friends will provide some tunes and a short puppet performance to end the event.
