Identity Lab: Use AI to Create Characters and Worlds
The age of the influencer is ending.
The age of the world-builder, the bedroom showrunner, the “full-stack creative” is here.
What to expect:
- A structured AI video competition with other attendees
- A low-pressure creative environment where weirdos are welcome
- Light food & drinks (alc & non)
What is this:
A hackathon mixed with a writers’ room mixed with an experimental game night. Hosted by comedian Myka Fox, you'll team up with collaborators to create characters and short film concepts using AI tools (Cantina, Veo, CapCut, etc.). Non-competitive. Non-judgmental. But there will be prizes.
What’s in it for you:
Learn new tools, meet future collaborators, and maybe walk away with a job. We’re lowkey scouting creators for our Creator Residency. If you’re good at this, it won’t go unnoticed.
Who is this for:
AI creatives, AI skeptics, writers, comedians, editors, shit-posters, slop-tinkerers, the curious. It's a wide tent!
What is Cantina:
Built by Sean Parker, Cantina is an AI character engine. You design a character’s personality, their voice, their look, and then publish them as a dynamic personality. Your character can create videos, talk to people, build worlds with other characters on the platform.
We view Cantina as an identity lab, and we're looking for smart people to experiment with.
- Cantina runs on your phone, so computers are only encouraged for those wanting to do more serious editing
