Conflict Skills for Authentic Relationships
Conflict can stir up anxiety, anger, or confusion. Yet it’s also an inevitable part of building authentic relationships and vibrant communities. What determines whether conflict tears us apart or brings us closer is how we choose to meet it.
In this workshop, we’ll explore mindsets and practices that transform conflict into connection. Through reflection and guided exercises, you’ll learn how to move past enemy images, listen for underlying needs, and co-create solutions that honor everyone involved.
Come with a conflict from your life, something to write with, and a willingness to lean into honesty and vulnerability.
The session will be facilitated by Shu Liu, who has been teaching Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for the past five years and integrates 15 years of experience in tech, consulting, and community work.
