​For many international students, the journey doesn’t stop at getting an admission letter - it’s only the beginning. From loans and scholarships to internships, CPT/OPT rules, and finally securing sponsorship, the path is filled with challenges and critical decisions.

​This session brings together voices who’ve been through it - to help you prepare smarter, avoid costly mistakes, and build the confidence to succeed abroad.

​Meet the Guest:

Anusha Syed holds an MS in Computing & Business from NJIT and is working as a Quality Engineer II at SiriusXM. She has successfully navigated the international student journey - from applying for loans and managing finances to securing a full-time role in the U.S.

​She has first-hand experience with loan applications, refinancing, on-campus jobs, internships, and the CPT/OPT process. She will be mentoring students by sharing lessons from her own transition and career-building journey in the U.S.

​About the Host:
Zainab Kamran is the Growth Lead at Dreambridge.ai and an incoming student at Georgetown University. She recently completed a private equity internship at Lionchase North America. She’s a national champion in both gymnastics and martial arts, and was selected as the only Pakistani female in her category at the Asian Games 2018.
