Investor Series: How do you evaluate founders when there’s barely any data?
Event Description: At the earliest stages, there’s often very little to measure and yet real decisions still need to be made.
This Investor Office Hours session is a space to compare notes on how people actually form conviction when metrics are thin, narratives are polished, and outcomes are uncertain.
I’ll start by sharing a few patterns I’m seeing across early-stage investing lately, then we’ll open it up for peer discussion.
This is for you if:
You invest pre-seed or seed
You rely on judgment more than dashboards
You want to sharpen early conviction without false precision
About this space: These sessions are intentionally not recorded to allow for candid, good-faith discussion among peers.
You’re welcome to share general insights or takeaways publicly - please don’t attribute comments or stories to specific people.
Participation is flexible: you may speak, ask questions, or simply listen. Cameras are optional.
This is a global space. Different markets, fund sizes, and investing contexts are expected and respected here.
