How to Have Effective Climate Conversations

​Our organization, THIS! Is What We Did, is focused on growing the climate movement to make it strong enough to break the power of the fossil fuel industry. One of the ways we do this is by arming people with climate literacy and inviting them into the conversation. Through our Effective Climate Conversations training, we provide skills to teach participants how to have productive and effective conversations about climate change, while also incorporating practice and refinement to help grow their confidence. At this event, we'll provide you with tips and information that will help you have these kinds of conversations in the real world. We may also ask you to practice with other attendees in the room to help get your feet wet.

​This event is open to all; no matter your background, knowledge level about climate, or whether you're in a climate job or looking for one. Effective climate conversations can be useful not only in casual conversations with family or friends, but also for those looking to bring climate into the workplace.
