Workshop on the environmental and social costs of AI
Scientist Rebellion Finland together with Helsus will host an interactive workshop on AI in the university. The workshop is the second in a 2-part series on the environmental and social costs of AI. The first event, taking place on 5 December at Think Corner, was/is a panel discussion focused on gaining knowledge. For more info, see https://luma.com/wemvroh9. A recording will be available after the event.
In the current workshop, we will use the gained knowledge to discuss further the implications of the rise of AI specifically in academia. The goal of this workshop is to create recommendations on responsible AI use that takes into account all environmental and social costs, to present to university leadership. It is possible to attend this workshop without attending the first part.
Coffee and pulla will be available at the in-person event. Remote attendance is possible.
