β€‹πŸš€ BioRevenue Tokenization Alliance (BRTA) – Kickoff Working Session

β€‹πŸ“… Date: Friday, September 19
πŸ•• Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
πŸ“ Location: Cambridge, MA (exact location shared after RSVP)

β€‹πŸ”Ž About BRTA

The BioRevenue Tokenization Alliance (BRTA) is a new working group exploring how tokenized future revenues from biotech clinical programs and medical devices can unlock capital, create liquidity, and expand investor participation.

Why now?

  • Biotech financing is under pressure, with early-stage programs facing steep capital challenges.

  • Tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) offers a way to pre-sell a portion of future revenues, aligning incentives without diluting equity.

  • AI is transforming biotech β€” from drug discovery to trial design β€” and pairing tokenization with AI-driven due diligence, predictive modeling, and risk scoring could accelerate adoption and investor confidence.

This session is designed as an open discussion and brainstorming forum. No formal presentations β€” instead, we’ll work together to shape the framework, identify opportunities, and chart next steps.

β€‹πŸ—“ Agenda

  • 6:00 – 6:30 PM – Networking & introductions

  • 6:30 – 7:15 PM – Group discussion: Key concepts in RWA tokenization for biotech and how AI might enhance funding models

  • 7:15 – 8:00 PM – Open collaborative session:

    • Identifying supportive jurisdictions for pilot programs

    • Leveraging the Cambridge biotech hub to find potential startup targets

    • Mapping the multidisciplinary talent needed (legal, regulatory, blockchain, biotech BD, AI/ML, investor relations)

    • Outlining next steps toward a proof-of-concept
