About Event

An event co-hosted by Daytona, Lago, Neo4j & Koyeb dedicated to exploring all things AI Engineering!

Agenda

🕒 6:45 pm – 6:50 pm
Welcome and Opening Remarks

🎤 Lisa Bardet, Head of Growth at Lago

🎤 Marijan Cipcic, Principal Events Manager at Daytona

🕒 6:50 pm - 7:10 pm
Keynote "Building a secure MCP server with Rust"

🎤 Michael Ponrajah, Founding Designer & Product Manager at Lago

Outline:

At Lago, we’re giving users a natural language interface to run API queries and access revenue data safely. That means eliminating risks of hallucinated API calls, unintended writes, and security vulnerabilities.
This talk walks through how we built a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in Rust—covering response formats, output filtering, access control, and why Rust’s memory safety and predictable performance make it well-suited for this infrastructure. We’ll share lessons learned and what’s next as we move toward an AI agent that business users can actually trust.

🕒 7:10 pm - 7:30 pm
Keynote "Contained Intelligence: Secure Sandboxing for Gen AI Code"

🎤 Toma Puljak, Software Engineer at Daytona

Outline:

Generative AI is used every day by millions of developers and vibe coders to generate functions, data processing pipelines, games or entire applications and, realistically, a lot of that code sucks to the point that it sometimes won’t even run. The piece that AI Agents need to generate runnable code is access to secure, fast and scalable remote sandboxes. In this talk, we explore how access to such tools opens up possibilities for, not only running generated code, but for highly parallel workflows such as data analysis or reinforcement learning. We’ll explore the technical requirements to build sandboxing tools and how to connect Agents to existing solutions.

🕒 7:30 pm - 7:50 pm
Agentic GraphRAG with MCP

🎤 Tomaz Bratanic, Graph ML and GenAI research at Neo4j

Outline:

RAG works—until complex context kicks in. GraphRAG upgrades it by weaving in knowledge graphs to structure retrieval, boost relevance, and enable explainable, precise generation. Learn how it fuses symbolic reasoning with neural search to power next-gen, context-aware agentic AI.

🕒 7:50 pm - 8:10 pm
Talk "Building an AI Photobooth in 3 days with Koyeb"

🎤 Leonardo Barcaroli & Alexis Guerville, Software Engineers at Koyeb

Outline:

We built an AI-powered photobooth demo under tight time constraints. In this talk, we’ll share how we used AI code generation and models to move fast, the challenges of building a photobooth that edits images and uses more than a single model, and how tools like app.build and one-click deploy on Koyeb made it possible. We’ll also highlight what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons we learned along the way.

🕒 8:10 pm - 9:30 pm

Networking

With pizzas and beverages
