Este evento marca el lanzamiento en Catalunya del proyecto Hitchhiker’s Guide to Earth.
Estamos comenzando a construir una Fellowship global de Hitchhikers: personas que colaboran para crear guías prácticas, juegos y experiencias de aprendizaje que ayuden a la ciudadanía a comprender el mundo y actuar en él con curiosidad, humor y cuidado.
En este primer encuentro en Barcelona:
Compartiremos el alcance y la intención del proyecto
Presentaremos lo que podría llegar a ser la edición Catalunya
Exploraremos cómo tú, como residente en Barcelona, puedes participar
No se trata de presentar un producto terminado.
Es una invitación a formar parte de un proyecto vivo, desde su inicio.
Contexto
El proyecto está inspirado en la obra de Douglas Adams y La guía del autoestopista galáctico.
El equipo central, con base en Londres y vinculado a los derechos intelectuales originales del universo Hitchhiker, está empezando a invitar a distintas ciudades y comunidades del mundo a participar y co-crear versiones locales.
La mitología Hitchhiker, con su énfasis en múltiples perspectivas, el humor, la verdad y la imaginación, puede ser una historia compartida capaz de unir a personas para repensar cómo convivimos y cómo diseñamos un futuro mejor.

This event marks the Catalunya launch of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to Earth.
We are beginning to build a global Fellowship of Hitchhikers: people working together to create practical guides, games, and learning experiences that help citizens make sense of the world and act within it, with curiosity, humour, and care.
At this first gathering in Barcelona, we will:
Share the scope and intention of the project
Explain what the Catalunya edition could become
Explore how local residents can take part as contributors, editors, storytellers, technologists, hosts, or curious companions
This is not a finished product being presented.
It is an invitation into a living project at its beginning.
Background
The project is inspired by the work of Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
The core team, based in London and connected to the original Hitchhiker’s intellectual property, is now reaching out to cultural centres around the world to invite local participation and interpretation.
The Hitchhiker’s mythology, with its love of multiple perspectives, humour, truth-telling, and imaginative leaps, offers a shared language that can help people come together to rethink how we live, decide, and care for our shared future.
If you’ve ever felt that the world needs better questions, not louder answers, you may already be one of the 42.
