Haverhill - Forest City Q&A
Update
Shiv, Joe, and the other Forest City volunteers are looking forward to meeting you on Monday. The core purpose of the event is to hear your questions, concerns, and ideas - do come prepared with questions!
We will briefly provide an overview of our motivations, the project’s goals, share some as-yet-unpublished details (including a proposal for a Haverhill train station), and then transition to Q&A for the bulk of the event.
Note: Due to high interest, we will need to limit entrance to only those with valid tickets for capacity planning reasons. If you intend to attend the event, please ensure you and any companions have registered on this site.
Forest City is an incredibly ambitious idea to try and create Britain's first city in 50 years. As plans are at a very early stage, this event will incorporate a series of updates, our current plans for solving water, transport and how a 12,000 acres forest might be created. Following that, there will be a Q&A with roving mics where anyone in the audience will be able to put questions to the founders, Joe and Shiv, and our area experts.
