AGE OF_ Spotlight on Utility
Join us for the inaugural session of our webinar series, where design meets impact and transforms the aging experience.
We’re honored to welcome Deborah Jordan, Senior Director of Design Thinking at AARP’s AgeTech Collaborative™, and Jason Kuo, founder of the award-winning Pulli and creator of the Pulli Bin.
Deborah brings decades of consumer-brand expertise—from leading projects with Campbell’s Soup, Prego, and Kraft to advising Fortune 500 companies at IBM. For the past four years, she has led design thinking at AARP’s Innovation Labs, championing human-centered design to solve real-world problems for individuals aged 50 and above. Her work spans immersive research, prototyping, and co-creating solutions with startups across diverse communities.
Jason is the creator of the Pulli Bin, a stainless-steel, front-opening trash can designed for ease, durability, and universal bag compatibility. It has raised over $200,000 (2,008% of its Kickstarter goal) thanks to its inventive, user-focused design. His passion lies in reimagining everyday essentials to enhance accessibility and convenience for all.
