About Event

One AIGC hackathon. Four hours. Your team's shot at the region.

In one afternoon, your team will build a vertical drama pilot using Seedance 2.0 and screen it the same evening as Singapore's newest batch of AIGC producers. No film school required. No studio backing. Just four hours, a model that does the heavy lifting, and a story only your team can tell.

Who This Is For

From Pilot to Platform. Not just an award. Not just a hackathon.

A pathway to production, distribution and audience. Outstanding projects may be shortlisted for co-production, incubation and international distribution discussions with participating studios, platforms and ecosystem partners, providing a potential pathway from hackathon pilot to commercially released content across multiple territories

This is for teams who are ready to make, not talk. New to AI filmmaking? Come with a sharp idea and the willingness to move fast; that counts more than a CV. This is a high-stakes build, not a beginner walkthrough, so come prepared to move fast.

This is not an individual participation. You will need a team of 2 to 4 to qualify. No team yet? Bring friends or colleagues, or team up with people you meet in the community before the day. We'll help match you.

The Awards

This is the inaugural edition of the Creators Lab Singapore Best AIGC Award. Four tiers and Five Winners are up for grabs:

🥇 Gold - The pilot the room can't stop talking about

🥈 Silver - The runner-up that nearly took it

🥉 Bronze - The third team that earned its place on stage

2 X Merit Award Winners

All five winning teams advance to the Creators Lab South East Asia Best AIGC Championship at ATF 2026 in December 2026, competing against the national winners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.

What You Walk Away With

  • Hands-on time with Seedance 2.0, among the first creators in SEA to build on BytePlus's next-gen generative video model

  • A real shot at Gold, Silver or Bronze and 2 X Merit Award Winners at the Creators Lab Singapore Best AIGC Awards, plus a Top 5 ticket to the SEA Championship at ATF 2026 in December 2026

  • A screening that night in front of industry guests, press and platform partners; putting your work directly in front of decisionmakers who can accelerate your AIGC go-to-market journey

  • A global feature, with winning pilots showcased on Seedance 2.0's official global channels and partner networks

How It's Judged

Pilots are judged on three things: the first 8 seconds (story and emotional hook, or it's a swipe-away), craft of the vertical frame (blocking, pacing, performance in 9:16), and pilot potential. Would you greenlight episode two?

The Rules

Make, not talk. Four hours, one finished pilot. Ship it.

Teams only, 2 to 4 people. No individual entries. You can't qualify on your own. Come as a team of friends, company colleagues, or strangers you met online. Everyone has a job, everyone contributes. No passengers.

Teams will each get a Standard SeeDance 2.0 package. Pool your compute. Share credits and access across the team.

Vertical or bust. 9:16 or it's not eligible.

Egos at the door. Seasoned producer or first-timer, the pilot is the only ego that matters.

Important Notes

  • You must enter as a team of 2 to 4. Solo entries don't qualify.

  • Maximum 20 teams. Selection is by invitation and open application, and teams must be verified as a group of 2 to 4.

  • Bring a laptop with internet access, ready to generate.

  • Editing Software.

  • In the event of oversubscription, Lorong AI members are prioritised.

The Forum

Running alongside the hackathon is a programme of talks on the business and craft of AIGC vertical drama. Industry leaders cover the economics of the format, what distribution partners like ReelShort and DramaBox are buying, how Asian Television Forum and Market reads the market, and applied technique from working Seedance 2.0 creators. If you're serious about doing this for a living, this is where you learn how the money and the craft actually move. Come to compete or come for the room. Both seats are open. A separate Luma link for these talks is coming soon. Stay tuned.
