Thomas founded Impulse with the conviction that entrepreneurship is one of the major forces transforming our economies and societies. Impulse Partners has extensive experience in running open innovation initiatives dedicated to accelerating startups and their technology deployment around the world. A graduate of Polytechnique, Ponts et Chaussées, and the University of Tokyo, Thomas has extensive experience in strategy consulting and international business development (Asia, North America, Europe; Middle East). An active member of academic and professional networks supporting entrepreneurship, Thomas is also an investor and mentor to several startups.

Shibuya Startup Support (SSS) is a government-backed program by the Shibuya City office in Tokyo, supporting international startups with their entry into Japan and helping local companies expand globally. In this session, SSS will introduce its soft-landing support offerings, including the startup visa program, company establishment support, and connecting startups with the right local connections at the right time.

​◯Kanehiro Yoshida Japan CCO / CEO @ Agorize Japan K.K. After spearheading the market entry and launch of Agorize—a France-based open innovation management platform—in Japan, Kanehiro now focuses on business expansion as CEO. In addition to supporting cross-border open innovation programs, he is dedicated to creating environments where Japanese innovators can more easily take on global challenges through the Agorize ecosystem.
