About Event

This panel explores how Colorado’s business community can play a meaningful role in advancing policies that promote sustainability, equity, and a stakeholder economy. Panelists from organizations such as Good Business Colorado and ClimateVoice, moderated by the American Sustainable Business Network, will share practical ways businesses can engage in advocacy both individually and collectively to influence policy outcomes. ClimateVoice will offer a unique perspective on how employees can advocate for climate policies within their own companies, helping align internal culture with external policy impact. Attendees will also learn about the new requirement for B Corp–certified companies to engage in advocacy as part of the certification process and hear real-world success stories from businesses that have turned their values into meaningful policy action.

Speakers:

Doni Clemons, Director, Good Business Colorado

Julia Korns, B Local Colorado Partnerships & Policy Lead

Deborah McNamara, Executive Director, ClimateVoice

Moderator - Natalia Ekberg, Community Development Associate, American Sustainable Business Network

Location
CSU Spur
