About Event

Join Game Devs of Color for our first official GDC meetup! We’ll participate in fun networking activities designed to make meaningful connections.

This event is open to developers, creatives, industry professionals, and anyone who wants to make lasting relationships that extend beyond GDC. Come for the community, and let’s have focused conversations and build our networks.

Agenda

  • Announcements & welcome

  • Community Resource Board: A categorized place to add and share resources

  • Speed Networking: Structured prompts for 1:1 conversations

  • Table Talks: Themed conversation topics in small groups

    • Example topics: hiring & job-seeking, business of indie games, art & culture of games, how game devs can support each other, how companies and organizations support game devs, what are you working on, marketing your game

  • Group photo (optional)

  • Wrap up & choose your own adventure

Participants will gain at least a few new meaningful connections, insight into how we can grow together, and access to the wider GDoC community of professionals. Hope to see ya there! 👋

There are outlets, tables and seating available! This event is inside Moscone, so a GDC pass is required.
