10:00 Field Visit to TERRRA’s Dalya River Estuary Project Site – Near Zichron Yaacov

Visit TERRRA’s nature-based carbon removal laboratory, where marginal land and unprofitable fishponds are being transformed into Real-Carbon-Agriculture. Located in the “Israeli Tuscany” region near Zichron Yaacov, the site combines wetland restoration with regenerative land management to lock away atmospheric CO₂ at scale. You’ll tour active restoration areas and learn how wetlands and soils are designed and operated for long-term carbon storage. The team will walk you through the science and MRV behind the project, including field sampling, GHG flux measurements, and geospatial monitoring. Meet the founders and field staff, and see firsthand how climate, ecology, and agriculture come together on the ground.

11:30 Field Visit to the CarbonBlue R&D Facility – Kibbutz Maagan Michael

Visit CarbonBlue’s groundbreaking R&D facility at Kibbutz Maagan Michael to learn about their approach to large-scale, industry-based decarbonization and environmental rehabilitation. You’ll be introduced to their EcoLime technology, which enables a low-carbon pathway for producing lime—one of the world’s most carbon-intensive industrial processes. You will also see their low-carbon lime in action at the on-site AquaFix (Midway) facility, where lime removes CO₂ from the inlet stream of the Kibbutz’s desalination plant, lowering emissions while providing meaningful co-benefits to desalination operations. Meet the engineers and scientists behind the technology and witness how industry and climate innovation can scale together.
