Building Innovation Ecosystems: Caucasus & Central Asia
Global Tech Weekend is hosting an institutional and startup focused forum at the Georgian Innovation Hub in San Francisco as part of Global Tech Weekend San Francisco Business Week.
The event brings together ecosystem leaders, public institutions and startups from Georgia, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to discuss how innovation ecosystems are built, supported and connected globally.
The program includes welcome remarks from Global Tech Weekend Co Founder Nodo Ivanidze and the Consul General of Georgia in San Francisco, followed by a fireside conversation on international ecosystem building and collaboration.
A panel with representatives from GITA, Uzbekistan IT Park and IDDA will explore how institutions support startups and position their countries as emerging innovation hubs. This will be followed by a startup panel featuring founders from all three countries sharing their perspective on growth, challenges and global expansion.
The event concludes with wine and networking.
