Ilya Kulyatin
Founder of Tokyo AI (TAI) and AI Foundry
Ilya has an interdisciplinary academic background, with degrees in Business (BSc), Finance (MA), and Machine Learning (MSc). He spent the first 10 years of his career in Finance, working mainly as a Quant in 4 countries across 3 continents (Italy, USA, Netherlands, and Singapore). Ilya built two Fintech startups, out of Singapore and New York. Most recently, Ilya was Co-founder of Cloudwall, a VC-funded NYC and Singapore-based Fintech SaaS startup providing institutional investors with tools to analyze risk in digital assets. Ilya is passionate about building communities and is now helping the Tokyo startup and angel investor communities grow.
Uttam Dwivedi
Founder&CEO of AveteAI
Uttam is the founder and CEO of Avete AI; an Antler portfolio company saving construction companies from fatalities and costly liabilities by improving site safety and productivity through AI-powered real-time monitoring and hazard detection.
In the construction industry, a single human error can result in fatal injury or death—halting entire projects involving hundreds of workers, vendors, and clients, while severely damaging a company's liability exposure and public credibility. Avete leverages AI to help companies anticipate risks, enhance training, and streamline workflows for safer construction sites.
Slava Minamoto
Engineer, Entrepreneur, CTO of TokumaLabs
Slava is an engineer, entrepreneur, and CTO of TokumaLabs - a Time Intelligence platform for international law firms.
As a portfolio company of Antler Japan, TokumaLabs targets a niche market with an untapped opportunity - they enable high-value legal professionals to fully focus on revenue generating tasks through a platform that automates time intelligence in the legal technology space.
Florian Geier
Antler Japan, Senior Director
Florian Geier is a Senior Director at Antler Japan, where he works closely with founders to build and scale innovative startups beginning their journey to global greatness in Japan.
He brings extensive experience from his roles at the US-Japan Unicorn Playco, where he led Partnerships and Operations, and at Fujifilm’s Innovation and Strategy Planning division, where he led global collaborations with startups and VCs. His strategic investments have led to significant value add for both corporates and startups, including one early-stage startup achieving an IPO with a valuation over $1 billion due to its collaboration with Fujifilm.
Florian originally came to Japan as a physics PhD student and has since developed a deep, multi-faceted understanding of both the startup and corporate ecosystem, which he now applies to support new entrepreneurs in Japan and globally.
