

Australian Net Zero Business Reception - NY Climate Week
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), supported by the South Australian Government, is hosting this Net Zero Panel Discussion and Business Reception as part of the Australian Government's broader activities during New York Climate Week.
The evening will commence with addresses by:
South Australia’s Minister for Trade & Investment, Local Government and Veterans Affairs, The Hon. Joe Szakacs.
David Higgins, Division Head, International Climate and Energy at Australia's Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW)
Attendees will hear then hear from a panel speakers involved in key aspects of the energy transition in Australia.

This reception will convene leading North American and Australian investors, corporates, and partners across the decarbonisation economy to highlight Australia’s new policy and market settings that are driving the transition to net zero, and to showcase Australian commercial opportunities across renewable energy, hydrogen, sustainable fuels, energy storage and other areas.
The event will also highlight Australian Government progress on its Net Zero goals and shed light on new developments that will further support our decarbonisation journey.
Networking will feature beer and wine sourced from providers in South Australia, by the South Australian Government.
