In April 2026, Florianópolis will once again become home to a bold social experiment: Ipê Village, a one-month pop-up village where hundreds of builders, founders, researchers and creators from around the world come together to prototype the future of internet-native cities using AI, crypto and decentralized coordination.
This meetup is the first gathering of the Ipê Village 2026 journey.
We’ll start by watching the second edition of the documentary The Network Society, followed by an open conversation about:
what Ipê Village is (and what it is not),
what’s new in the 2026 edition,
and how this month-long experiment will unfold across Florianópolis.
Whether you’re curious, considering applying, hosting a themed/branded house, or simply want to understand what’s coming to the city, this meetup is your entry point.
