Special Edition Holiday Gift Swap at City Hall with VegMichigan and Sustainable Gift Wrapping

​Special Edition Holiday gift swap! Please bring up to 5 items of any kind (beyond clothing) that are in excellent ‘gift giving’ condition. Keep the spirit of circular economy going through the holiday season and come ready to find the perfect gift for friends and family. 

​​​How it works: Each person can bring up to 5 items in good condition (no broken, dirty, or items with missing parts please!). You can take items without bringing anything, or bring items without taking anything. This is a completely free event. We will not be accepting any items that are broken, dirty, toxic, containing food, or too heavy/large to easily carry.

​This event will be taking place in Council Chambers on the second floor of Ann Arbor City Hall. Swaps will be taking place indoors starting in November for the winter season.

​Swap reusable gift-wrapping supplies and learn how to wrap gifts using furoshiki, the traditional Japanese art of wrapping with reusable cloth.

​VegMichigan will be present at this swap, taking sign-ups for their plant-based pledge, including bags of plant-based samples.
