Culture and Climate Empowerment: Towards the Next ACE Work Programme | Care About Climate

​A roundtable where will discuss the foundational principles of ACE, what's next for the negotiations, and how through education, culture and art we can build a liveable future.

​With prompts for writing poems, short stories, and opportunities to share pictures and other forms of pre-existing art, we will inspire each other to look for solutions beyond policy, through arts, in a language that transcends barriers.

​The Action for Climate Empowerment Action Plan is up for review and renewal at COP31. Culture is informally known as the seventh element of ACE, making the review of the Action Plan a critical opportunity to more formally integrate culture into its strategies and actions.

​Despite many organizations bringing in elements of ACE and culture, few are equipped with the understanding of ACE to approach the negotiations or identify ways they can connect their work to ACE implementation.
