WeBoot Education - Data-Sharing For Learners
The world is changing at an exponential rate, and education must reboot in order to prepare young people to meet the emerging challenges of their future.
WeBoot Education is a new collaboration that brings together academics, organisations and companies that believe in developing meaningful tools and achievable policies to shift schooling past the one-size-fits-all traditional ‘factory’ model.
On Wednesday 25/2 from 8h30-12h at the commonshub.brussels (near Gare Centrale), WeBoot Education invites you to explore the most exciting intersection in education; where new pedagogical concepts meet AI, database, and personal data store technologies. Expect to engage in conversations that look over the horizon with leading thinkers, developers, learners, legal experts, and policy-makers. Presentations from Jan Kunnen (Eduvik) and Neil Evans (Adjinti) will set the stage for a series of thematic round table conversations that will explore the future of education from diverse perspectives.
There will be a particular focus on the opportunities and challenges presented by shared and managed learner’s educational data via sovereign personal data stores / e-wallets, including those running on data trustflows.
If you have been invited to this meeting, it is because other participants would welcome and value your input in this one-of-a-kind event.
