Andrew J. Scott is a serial entrepreneur turned investor, and the Founding Partner of 7percent Ventures, where he has been backing breakthrough deeptech startups for over a decade.
As a founder, Andrew built pioneering ventures including the world’s first online digital news archive (BritishPathe.com), the first location-based mobile social network (playtxt), and one of the earliest personalization AI startups (Rummble).
He has served on the board of UnLtd World (acquired by Guardian Media Group), advised the EU Commission via its Silicon Valley Advisory Group, and contributed to Silicon Valley Bank’s Early Stage Advisory Board. In 2009, he co-founded ICE, a not-for-profit founder community, and today he is Co-Founder and Chair of DragonChasers, the global GP/LP community.
Currently, Andrew sits on the boards of Universal Quantum, Aerovolt, and Greenjets, and is a long-time advocate for investing in advanced technologies to strengthen Western democratic resilience. Beyond tech, Andrew is passionate about flying and film—he is even writing a movie script inspired by a true WWII story. Every July, you’ll find him at the Royal International Air Tattoo, geeking out over fast jets.
