3D Printing Workshop

​Hi I'm Mao, community organizer & engineer with a mechanical background. I've designed & printed for projects like aeroponic towers, Class 3 medical devices, and pocket Connect4.

CAD (Computer-Aided Design) & 3D printing are indispensable skills for solving specific problems. In this workshop, I will briefly cover 3D printing (by types, uses etc) and we will begin by CADing a simple 2x1 lego block in Fusion. This will get you started on the basics of 3D modeling - extrudes, cuts, dimensioning, assigning material.

We highly encourage you to bring a laptop and mouse, if possible. CAD software Autodewsk Fusion is free for download here: https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/fusion-360/download

​This workshop helps raise funds for the Here Clubhouse, a volunteer-run community space in K-Town! All proceeds go towards keeping the lights on for the space.
