XR xChange: Where Art Meets Immersion
Brought to you by TUM-XR: Student Initiative. This time, join us for an exciting session on the topic: Where Art Meets Immersion
Designed to bridge the gap between tech and non-tech people in extended reality (XR), the XR xChange series explores essential topics that shape the future of XR.
The Power of XR Storytelling: Expanding Imagination and Cultural Experience
How can extended reality (XR) transform the way we tell stories, share culture, and connect with audiences?
With XR artists and curators Tamiko Thiel, Sonja Unger, and Ayuko Onoue, we will explore the intersection of art, technology, and society. Together, we will discuss the creative journey of working with XR, the unique ways it brings stories to life, the potential it holds for future projects, and much more!
The session will include:
Panelist introductions & showcase of works
A panel discussion on XR storytelling and vision
Audience Q&A with interactive participation
Open-ended networking
Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with our panelists through Q&A sessions and network with fellow XR and digital arts enthusiasts. Whether you're a digital artist working on your first XR project or a seasoned XR artist looking for insights and inspirations, this session will offer valuable and practical advice on integrating art with XR.
Join us to explore how XR can bridge analog warmth and digital magic, and discover new perspectives on storytelling in the digital age!
