From interface flows to physical prototypes, AI is becoming part of the designer’s toolkit. Hear from designers across disciplines as we consider what it means to collaborate with AI in design.

More About the Sharings

Chien Her (AI Engineer, MiAO) will share on "UGenLah: AI-Powered Game Development for Everyone."

  • As indie studios thrive with innovative titles, both new and experienced developers continue to face challenges in game development. Beginners often struggle with the steep learning curve of mastering game engines while learning to code, while experienced developers are slowed by repetitive tasks, recurring bugs, and boilerplate setup. MiAO will demonstrate how UGenLah uses AI to streamline workflows, reduce technical friction, and help developers focus on creativity instead of engine mechanics and coding complexities. Discover how AI is reshaping game development and making game creation more accessible.

Gang Rui (Product Builder, Butterdot) will share on "Closing the Design-to-Code Gap: The Figma↔Code Loop"

  • The gap between the Figma design and the built reality always exists. Closing it usually requires rounds of handoff, QA, and "this doesn't match the design" tickets. Gang Rui will showcase a real-time workflow using AI agents to bridge Figma and code. See a full round-trip: code captured into Figma, refined as a design, pushed back to code, and polished. All in one sitting. Explore:

    • The tools that connect Figma and code (Claude Code, Figma MCP, Agentation)

    • How to move fluidly between designing in Figma and coding directly

    • How AI can speed up execution while keeping the designer’s judgment central

Fittra Syaifullah (Co-Founder, Buildables) will share on “The Next Stage of Vibe: Vibe-Printing and Vibe-Engineering.”

  • As vibe-coding lowers the barrier to building software, what does that mean for hardware?Explore how Buildables, the “Lovable” for hardware, is making industrial design prototyping accessible to non-technical creators with deep domain expertise. From helping a design student produce an FYP Version 1 prototype in just three minutes to applications in K–12 classrooms and industry settings, Buildables reimagines how physical products can be brought to life. Discover why vibe-hardware-ing is far more complex than vibe-coding and what it takes to translate intent into accurate, real-world hardware.

Phil Hedayatnia (Co-Founder, Airfoil) will share on "Putting Designers Back at the Center with AI"

  • As software design becomes increasingly specialized, many designers find themselves confined to narrow silos, focused only on visuals or research, while product authority shifts elsewhere. Explore how AI can act as a corrective force. By absorbing operational overhead, AI agents enable designers to work across the full product lifecycle and regain a more holistic view of what they are building. Discover:

    • Real examples of how Airfoil returns product authority to designers

    • How AI democratizes the hybrid designer–coder skill set

    • A forward-looking vision for the evolving role of the software designer

*As the programme is still being finalized, do note that details are subject to change.

More About the Speakers

  • Chien Her is an AI Engineer at MiAO, working on UGenLah, an AI driven development assistant that automates aspects of game creation and boosts developer productivity. He focuses on enhancing UGenLah’s capabilities and running experiments with new AI technologies directly within the assistant.

  • Gang Rui is is a Product Builder who runs Butterdot, an agency that helps companies build and fix AI systems that work beyond the demo. With a background in product design and hands-on experience across RAG pipelines, AI agents, and evaluation frameworks, he specializes in bridging the gap between impressive prototypes and production-ready AI.

  • Fittra Syaifullah is a Product Designer and Entrepreneur based in Singapore. He is building Buildables.app, the ChatGPT for hardware AI that closes the gap between "Design" and "Reality." While most AI generates pictures and code, Buildables generates hardware, turning concepts into reality using existing parts while leaving major design decisions for humans to review.

  • Phil Hedayatnia is a software designer and co-founder of Airfoil, a product design and research firm working across hardware, consumer AI, research, and digital assets. Airfoil supports clients including Exa, Reducto, Solana, Cerebras, and 1/5 of Forbes’ Top 25 “Next Billion Dollar Startups,” with a team of 40+ creatives across Singapore, San Francisco, Seoul, and Toronto. Previously, Phil founded and exited a psychometric testing startup, was an early member and first designer at South Park Commons, and has designed products for startups across Silicon Valley.
