PlanetHAUS is coming to SF Climate Week on Earth Day!
PlanetHAUS is a nonprofit, immersive event series created to help us imagine what sustainability actually looks, tastes, and feels like.
On Earth Day, we’re transforming The Battery into a “sustainable home of the future.” Inside, you’ll move through a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, garden, and living space, experiencing products from ~50 leading brands in context, not booths or exhibits.
Throughout the day, the "HAUS" comes to life through a mix of activations:
Breakfast with Nature’s Path, Clover Sonoma, Savor, and Nespresso
Scent stacking with Pinterest and BLK Girls Green House
The PlanetHAUS Innovation Hub featuring Purpose Pledge, The Change Climate Project, One Step Closer, and Planet FWD
Pose for portraits with Chloe Jackman Photography
Climate storytelling with Imagine5, Isaias Hernandez (@queerbrownvegan), and Kristy Drutman (@browngirl_green)
Grounding with Dena Crowder
Sip with CleanCo, Etude Wines, Jackson Family Wines, Just Ice Tea, Nespresso
Taste with Aloha, Almond Board of California, Lotus Foods, and Savor
Sustainable lifestyle with Coyuchi, Peak Design, Pinterest, and Seed
Sustainable beauty and personal care with Deciem, LOLA, Maison Louis Marie, and Seed
Play with Lovevery
Glam with McMullen and TheNOBO
In parallel, a main stage program runs throughout the day with short talks, conversations, and film screenings at the intersection of culture and climate.
Sessions include:
Tasting sustainability in a glass of wine with Jackson Family Wines
Sustainable packaging lightning rounds with Sway, EcoEnclose, Clement Packaging, and Dr. Bronner’s
Sustainable agriculture and dairy with Clover Sonoma, Almond Board of California, Etude Wines, and Lotus Foods
Where climate meets culture with leaders from Good Is The New Cool, BITE, The Change Climate Project, Commons, and more
We’ll close the day with a happy hour co-hosted with Sphere, centered around collective joy.
PlanetHAUS programming is built around three core ideas: how better products actually get made and scaled, what it takes to shift systems and markets, and how culture makes sustainability tangible, accessible and desirable. It’s about moving from intention to action, and from niche to a movement that feels irresistible.
To extend this home beyond its walls and into global climate action, PlanetHAUS is funding forest protection through Wildlife Works Forest Carbon Credits that pay forest guardians for their conservation work.
