Founder Series | I’m building outside the usual startup hubs. Does that change the rules?
Event Description: Founders building outside major startup ecosystems often wonder if they’re at a disadvantage or just on a different path.
This session is a global, inclusive conversation about geography, access, and what actually matters at the early stage.
We’ll talk about:
What changes (and what doesn’t)
How to work with your context, not against it
Letting go of one-size-fits-all startup narratives
This is for you if:
You’re building outside traditional hubs
You don’t see many people “like you” in startup media
You want realism, not comparison
About this space: Our sessions are intentionally not recorded so people can speak honestly.
You’re welcome to share general lessons or insights you take away on social but please don’t attribute comments or stories to specific people.
Participation looks different for everyone:
You’re welcome to speak, ask questions in chat, or just listen
Cameras are optional
Listening counts as participating
This is a global space. Different accents, levels of English, time zones, and startup contexts are all expected here.
These conversations help shape future resources (writing, courses, tools) - the goal is to reflect what founders are actually experiencing, not what startup media says you should be experiencing.
If you’re dealing with this right now, showing up live really does matter.
